We aimed to present many
different types of programme on the
station. It was identified that some
people would like a Classical music
show, others would like to hear
interviews with local community
groups. There are many other styles
of show we could have put on the air,
if you would like to suggest
something for the future then get in
touch and we'll see what we can do.
These are just some of
the shows we put out in Summer 2005

TMCR's Night
Music show. |
Monday To Friday,
between 10am and 1pm, we featured
interviews with local groups and
organisations. We tried to bring lots
of information to our area, letting
our community know what is going on -
rather than wait until events have
taken place.
The station was on air
24 hours a day, with 'live'
presenters as much as possible.
Through the night we carried an
automated programme from our own
computer system. Use of such systems
is normal throughout the radio
industry, at many stations people
cannot tell that the programme is not
live!
We aimed to have live
presenters in our studio between 7am
and 10pm daily, through the night a
computer driven system provided a mix
of music to keep the insomniacs and
night workers happy, hosted by Gordon
Sharpe.
We brought you
interviews with community groups and
service providers operating on our
area, giving you the information
about what was available and how to
get in touch.
Requests
When we come back on air we will be
happy to give out messages on air for
birthdays and so on, but cannot
guarantee that we will have a given
song in our music library. Although
we've over 14,000 tracks available we
can't have every single track that's
ever been out. But, we will try if we
can - give us a few days notice if
possible and we will do our best.

Thorne
Festival
We
were at the Thorne Festival on July
30th and 31st 2005.
We had an outside broadcast unit
which was able to broadcast directly
from the event, through our main
studio. Come rain or shine, we
relayed some of the atmosphere of the
day to listeners who could not be
there.
